The first activity that the groups go through in Veo Veo is ZOETROPE. This stroboscopic instrument, was created in 1834 and is constituted by a circular drum with vertical cuts, through which a spectator watches a series of drawings displayed in stripes on the drum, when spun, it gives the illusion of movement. It was popularized as a toy and is one of the advances towards the invention of moving pictures.

In Veo Veo children work on a table displayed with a significant amount of zoetropes created specifically for our fair.

First they try the zoetropes with stripes already drawn that show a sequence of movement. Then they have access to stripes with less information on them that they will need to intervene and fill until they draw a full sequence of the movement. The goal of this stand is that children comprehend that movement can be created.
